"International Festival"

Today, the Kanto International Festival was held at Kanto campus in Tokyo. All the participants of World School 2000 joined the festival, like last year. All the Kanto students have been looking forward to having the festival with special friends from all over the world. I'm very glad that we could have our school festival with our special friends. The participants decorated their own booths to introduce their home countries. They are very colorful, interesting and beautiful. Many junior high school students visited our booths. World School participants and junior high school students joined 'the stamp rally', and they collected many countries stamps through visiting their booths.

In the afternoon, we had the Net Meeting with our friends in South Africa! I could even make friends with people I had never met before. I was really amazed that I could talk to people who are now at the opposite side of the earth!! To our regret, we couldn't see and hear each other well in motion pictures.

They keep guns in their houses. That was really surprising for me, because we're not allowed to keep guns in Japan. I've never seen the real one. There was a unique man, who is really good at dancing, and we were interested in what he said. We hoped that he could have come to Japan this time, and joined World School 2000.

It was a crazy day; I mean very busy day that I met so many people in such a short time. We had so much fun together, and became good friends.

Tomorrow, we will do our own performance in the afternoon. We're a little bit nervous, but we'll do we best!!!
